Susan J. Collini, CASC, RT, RDMS, RDCS
Susan J. Collini, CASC, RT, RDMS, RDCS, owner of AoI is also the Administrative & Facility Director of The Renaissance Center For Plastic Surgery. Susan has 20+ years of experience working in the plastic surgery and beauty industry. She has co-authored a book on cosmetic surgery, Two Girlfriends Get Real About Cosmetic Surgery (2GGR). Susan continues to write about surgery, life and beauty in her co-authored blog 2GGR, most recently published in Inside the Back Mountain. Susan prides herself and AoI for being the “go to” place when trying to find “what’s real” and “what’s not” in the field of services and cosmeceuticals. Susan feels that EVERY woman can look and feel her best at any age! Age of Innocence epitomizes her philosophies and ideals and Susan shares them and her Secrets with you!
Lauren CAREY (LC)
Lauren is the assistant manager and senior stylist at “Age of Innocence Salon and Day Spa,” AOI. She is also the cosmetic tattoo artist for “The Renaissance Center for Plastic Surgery,” working directly with Dr. Francis J. Collini, MD. She began her career as a cosmetologist at AOI, graduating from Empire Beauty School. She continues to do hair, specializing in cuts, color, balayaging, ombres, Brazilian blowouts, and extensions. Shortly into her career, she was given the opportunity to apprentice with world-renowned cosmetic tattoo artist Carmella Shultz. Carmella has 24 years of experience in the cosmetic tattoo business. Lauren apprenticed with Carmella for one year before bringing her talents to The Renaissance Center. Lauren is certified in blood borne pathogens and is a member of the SPCP for cosmetic tattoo artistry. She is certified as a CPCP, which is the highest recognized international accreditation for cosmetic tattooing. Lauren received her BA from Drew University, Madison, NJ in 2005. Lauren prides herself in always studying new techniques and new trends through classes, videos and seminars in hopes to further her education. Lauren is a perfectionist with her craft: so Lauren isn’t happy until you are happy!
Derek J Peters
A state licensed esthetician with a concentration in medical esthetic procedures. Having split his training between the NEPA region and the Philadelphia area he received the most up to date schooling on the latest equipment and skin care trends. Over the past 7 years Derek has worked in a wide variety of professional capacities to include spa, and medical facilities. His passion, continuing education and constant research for the “next best thing” allows him to cover a wide range of skin care concerns from minor to severe. Derek has specific focus in “results driven skin care” utilizing Microdermabrasion, various strengths of chemical peels, The Perfector, HydraFacial ™, and many more.
Kimberly Stesney graduated cosmetology school in 1995, giving her years to perfect her craft. Kim has worked in many different environments, keeping up with the latest nail trends and technologies. As a 10 year veteran of AoI, Kim’s experience in a medical atmosphere sets her apart, from other manicure experts by making sure that cleanliness and nail health are top priorities. Along with her technical prowess, Kim’s nail artistry is exquisite! Any client considering unique nail adornment will revel in Kim’s creative and colorful designs!
Karen Turi RN, BSN
Karen has been a nurse for over 40 years and a skin care advocate since she studied dermatology in nursing school. As manager of AoI she loves researching all skin care conditions from acne to anti-aging. Her experiences cover a wide range of skin “sins”. She worked in Clinique and completed master classes in skin care and has kept the love of learning. AoI is a passion and you can find her doing treatments from Chemical peels, Microdermabrasion, Perfector, HydraFacial, Verju, Endermology and Arasys. She loves it all !!!
